Gaming operator SJM will give a salary increase of between 2.5 and 8.3 percent to eligible staff, effective from April 1, the company said in a statement yesterday.
According to the statement, all eligible employees whose monthly salaries are below 16,000 patacas will have a 600-pataca rise, representing increases of up to 8.3 percent; while employees earning monthly salaries of 16,000 patacas or above will receive salary increases of 2.5 percent.
The statement also said that the Grand Lisboa Palace casino resort in Cotai “is making substantial construction progress, and will increase the non-gaming elements and business opportunities for SJM upon opening,” without giving details of the opening date.
