A committee chaired by Transport Bureau (DSAT) Vice Director Chiang Ngoc Vai unsealed and screened 981 bids for 100 new common taxi licences yesterday, with the highest bid amounting to 988,080 patacas.
The lowest bid of the 100 accepted bids stood at 810,101 patacas. The minimum bid had been set at 200,000 patacas.
Members of the committee started unsealing and screening the 981 bidding documents at 10 a.m. The result was announced in the afternoon at Macau Forum in Zape.
