The Judiciary Police (PJ) said in a statement that they are investigating a suspected arson case on a mothballed construction site in Zape yesterday.
The idle construction site is situated between Waldo Hotel and a residential building in Avenida da Amizade.
According to the statement, a man working on a construction site nearby saw smoke was coming from a container on the other construction site at midday yesterday. Firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the blaze. No one was injured in the incident, the statement said.
