Wynn is increasing the duration of paid maternity and paternity leave to 70 days and seven days respectively, a staff benefit that will take effect on May 1, the gaming operator said in a statement yesterday.

According to the statement, based on the adjustment, the duration of the company’s paid maternity leave will be increased from 56 days (eight weeks) to 70 days (10 weeks), while paid paternity leave will be increased from two days to seven days.

The statement underlined that the durations exceed the minimum requirements of the Labour Relations Law, adding that the paid maternity leave is applicable to all the company’s female staff who have completed one year of continuous service as of the date of lying-in.
