Stella Artois – one of Macau’s best-selling beers – has ordered a voluntary partial recall of its 330-millilitre single bottles in Macau and elsewhere as they may contain particles of glass.
The multinational company announced its global recall – including markets such as Hong Kong, the US and Canada – earlier this week.
The famous Belgian beer brand, owned by US – Brazilian brewery giant Anheuser-Busch InBev, said in an international statement that the recall covers, for instance, less than 1 percent of its glass bottles sold in North America.
