The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a Philippine national on Sunday for raping a compatriot after a party, PJ spokesman Choi Ian Fai said during a regular press conference yesterday.
Choi identified the suspect as a 35-year-old non-resident worker surnamed Llarena who has worked as a security guard in Macau since 2015. The 25-year-old victim is also a non-resident worker.
According to Choi, the victim’s female cousin invited Llarena to a party in her home near the Ruins of St Paul’s on Saturday night. The two cousins and several compatriots live in the flat. The party started at 10 p.m. with six people, including the suspect and the two cousins attending. They were drinking, singing and playing games.
