Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On said yesterday that the government will implement its revised system for the issuing of tropical cyclone and storm surge warning signals before the coming typhoon season.
The government’s “Committee for the Review of the Mechanism for Responding to Major Disasters and its Follow-up and Improvement” hosted a press conference yesterday about what the government has done and will do to respond to typhoons and other major disasters.
Chui made the remarks during the press conference at Government Headquarters.
