A local man has been arrested for raping a domestic helper who worked for his family in Areia Preta, a Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesperson said yesterday during a regular press conference in Zape.
The Judiciary Police said that the suspect is a 45-year-old businessman surnamed Wong, while the victim is a 41-year-old Vietnamese woman, who lives with Wong and his family in a flat in Avenida do Nordeste.
The spokesperson said that Wong’s family went out on Sunday afternoon, leaving him and the domestic helper at home. Wong asked the domestic helper into his bedroom to rub medicated oil on his sore body. About half an hour later, Wong suddenly pushed the victim down on the bed and raped her. While trying to resist the rape the victim’s arms were injured.
