An Indian man was caught yesterday for allegedly slashing a Filipino man with a box cutter.
The Public Security Police (PSP) told The Macau Post Daily that the suspect, surnamed Nomula, is a non-resident cleaner in his 30s.
The victim was among four Filipinos who were hanging out early yesterday morning in a sitting-out area in Rua da Barca, according to the Public Security Police. Nomula and his friends joined the group, and he later started flirting with a woman in the group. The victim told him to stop, and the two started to have a quarrel. Nomula took out a box cutter and slashed the victim’s chin and hand, and then fled.
Police officers received the report at 12:30 a.m. and caught the suspect later in the day. The victim suffered minor injuries and received stitches. He has already been discharged from the hospital.
