The Macau government has rejected the “irresponsible” remarks contained in the European Commission’s 2017 Annual Report on Macau.
The government issued a brief statement yesterday to reject the report released by the European Commission and the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security in Brussels on Tuesday.
The statement said that the EU report chose to “ignore facts” proving that Macau people enjoy political stability, economic development, social harmony and civic rights that “surpass any conditions ever recorded in Macau’s history.”
