Macau’s hotels and guesthouses recorded 3.35 million guests in the first quarter, a year-on-year growth of 9.2 percent, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) said in a statement yesterday.
The average occupancy rate of the city’s 115 hotels and guesthouses rose by 5.3 percentage points to 88.8 percent.
Guests’ average length of stay increased by 0.1 night to 1.5 nights.
