An off-duty Public Security Police (PSP) officer was caught driving under the influence (DUI) in Avenida do General Castelo Branco on Sunday morning, PSP spokeswoman Lei Wa Seong said yesterday.
According to Lei, the officer is in his twenties surnamed Chan, who joined the force in 2016.
Lei said that at about 4 a.m. of that morning, the Public Security Police received a report of a car colliding with a large vehicle at the junction of Avenida do General Castelo Branco and Avenida do Conselheiro Borja. PSP officers arrived at the scene, and noticed that Chan, the driver of the car, reeked of alcohol.
