A scooter on Monday night hit a woman in Avenida do Almirante Lacerda before catching fire, leaving the woman seriously injured, Public Security Police (PSP) spokeswoman Lei Wa Seong said during a regular press conference yesterday.
A statement by the Fire Services Bureau (CB) on Monday identified the scooter rider as a 54-year-old local man while the injured pedestrian is a 44-year-old local woman.
At around 10 p.m. on Monday, the man was riding the scooter when he hit the woman, who was crossing the road, outside Nam Iek Industrial Building, according to the Fire Services Bureau (CB).
