In two separate cases, the police have arrested a man for filming a woman in a toilet in May, and caught another for forcibly kissing a woman last week, the Judiciary Police (PJ) and Public Security Police (PSP) said during a joint press conference yesterday.
In the first case, PJ spokesman Chan Wun Man said that on the evening of May 26, the victim – a 27-year-old local woman, went to a park in Ka Ho for a barbeque with her family. During the barbeque, she went to a toilet there, but saw that someone holding a video camera outside the toilet was recording her through a window. Shocked, the victim ran out and chased after the man, who later fled the scene in a car. The victim noted the registration number of the car, and reported the case to the police later.
The police identified a 31-year-old local man surnamed Kuong, who works as a stage designer, as the suspect.
