President Xi Jinping says in a letter in reply to two local higher education institutions he hopes that Macau’s tertiary education institutions will nurture more talents who love the country and Macau and create more scientific and technological (S&T) achievements.
Central People’s Government Liaison Office in Macau Director Zheng Xiaosong read out Xi’s letter during a seminar attended by Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On and representatives from local tertiary institutions on Friday.
The seminar assessed the “spirit” emanating from Xi’s “important instruction” on the development of Macau’s higher education institutions.
