Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Alexis Tam Chon Weng said yesterday he expects the government’s Ka Ho Rehabilitation Hospital in Coloane – the construction of which has recently been completed – to come into operation by the end of this year or early next year.
The hospital’s service will include rehabilitation and physiotherapy, as well as palliative treatment for people with life-limiting illnesses.
Tam made the remarks while speaking to reporters after inspecting the new hospital in Ka Ho yesterday.
