Local animal protection group Anima President Albano Martins and the group’s shelter supervisor Tinna “Zoe” Tang handed 650 greyhound adoption forms to three representatives of the Macau (Yat Yuen) Canidrome Co. Ltd. outside the racetrack in Fai Chi Kei yesterday.
Originally, Martins had given the forms to the Civic and Municipal Bureau (IACM) last Thursday but was informed on Tuesday that the forms had to be given to the racetrack to be processed before the bureau could deal with the paperwork.
That’s why Martins and Tang, surrounded by a large contingent of the local media, assembled outside the racetrack yesterday morning.
