Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak said yesterday that the police forces’ closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras installed across the city in recent years have proved to be “very helpful” for law enforcement agencies to solve criminal cases.
Wong made the remarks while speaking to reporters at the Macau Science Centre in Nape on the sidelines of the opening ceremony of an annual trade fair showcasing and selling handicrafts made by prison inmates.
The four-day trade fair, which will end on Sunday, is displaying some 4,800 items comprising some 400 kinds of handicrafts.
