Indonesia’s ambassador to China and Mongolia, Djauhari Oratmangun, has both praised and warned local Indonesians about living and working in Macau, Kumbang Toh! News reported during its weekly broadcast on 98 FM Radio Macau last night.

“I am proud of you, all Indonesian citizens who work and live in Macau, while keeping Indonesia’s good image,” Oratmangun told Kumbang Toh! News on June 30 in an interview at the local representative office of Indonesia’s Consulate-General in Hong Kong. The office is located on the 22nd floor of Luso International Bank Building in the city centre. The consulate-general is simultaneously accredited in Macau.

Oratmangun, who was in town to introduce himself to local Indonesian community leaders, also reminded his fellow citizens to be law-abiding migrants in a foreign land.
