A man from the mainland had his belongings, including cash, all his outer garments, socks and a pair of shoes, stolen by another male mainlander – who the victim had met a short while before the theft – from a sauna last month, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Chan Wun Man said yesterday, adding that the suspect was arrested on Saturday.
In a special press conference about the case, Chan identified the suspect as a 31-year-old surnamed Tang.
On June 9, the 24-year-old victim came to Macau to gamble. The next day, the victim met Tang for the first time when he was having a meal at a restaurant in a casino-hotel resort in Cotai, Chan said. The two men swapped phone numbers.
