According to a statement by the Public Security Police (PSP) yesterday, the police have been paying close attention to violations by local taxi drivers and, in addition to the ongoing clampdown on rogue cabbies, the police have added a shortcut for reporting alleged violations by cabbies on its ePolice app’s homepage.

The statement pointed out that, with this shortcut, callers can directly call the PSP Traffic Department on 2837 4214, pointing out that this would save callers having to look for the number.

The statement also underlined that in order to complete the complaint; callers would need to provide the following information to the police: nature of the incident, taxi’s registration number, taxi driver’s name, location, and callers contact number.
