The number of South Korean visitor arrivals, Macau’s number-one foreign visitor segment, fell 2.2 percent year on year to 424,000 in the first half of the year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) said yesterday.
In June, 57,800 South Koreans visited Macau, down 13.4 percent year on year.
The first half of the year recorded 16.81 million visitor arrivals, up 8.0 percent year on year. Overnight visitors accounted for 52.1 percent of all visitor arrivals. Overnight visitors’ average length of stay stood at 2.2 days.
