A local journalist has been arrested in Zape for driving a car at 107 km/h after drinking, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Choi Iok Kin said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Choi, the suspect, who is in his sixties, works for a local media outlet.
Choi said that in an operation against speeding offences on Monday night, PSP officers were deployed in Zape. At about midnight, officers’ equipment clocked the suspect driving at 107 km/h in Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, a 60 km/h zone – 47km/h over the limit.
