Local gaming operator SJM has committed itself to helping small- and medium-sized restaurants and bakeries in the Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro and Inner Harbour areas which were badly affected by Super Typhoon Hato last August.
The gaming company held a press conference along with representatives of several government bodies and local businesses at Grand Lisboa yesterday.
Macau Chamber of Commerce (ACM) Vice President Choi Tat Meng said that gastronomy was an indispensable element of Macau’s development. He said that SJM’s scheme would help the small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to draw customers and promote business.
