The Macau Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau (SMG) announced this afternoon (Tuesday) that it will hoist the No. 8 typhoon warning signal at 7:30 p.m., resulting in the suspension of all public bus and ferry services. According to an SMG statement, at 5 p.m. Typhoon Bebinca was located about 120 km south of Macau and gradually approaching Macau. The Macau Post Daily will suspend its operation tonight so that all its team members are able to arrive home safe and sound before the No. 8 signal goes up. Updated information on Typhoon Bebinca is available on the weather bureau’s official trilingual (Chinese, English, Portuguese) website http://www.smg.gov.mo/www/cvm/typhoon/fe_typhoonmain.htm
The Macau Post Daily team expects to be back to work tomorrow (Wednesday).
Stay safe!
