Visitor arrivals from South Korea, Macau’s number-one foreign visitor segment, fell 19.8 percent year on year to 59,500 last month, accounting for 2.0 percent of all visitor arrivals, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) said in a statement yesterday.
The number of South Korean visitors in the first seven months dropped 4.8 percent to 483,400.
Last month’s total number of visitor arrivals rose 4.0 percent to 3.03 million. Overnight visitors accounted for 53.9 percent of all visitors in June.
