The Public Security Police (PSP) said in a statement yesterday that 48 suspected illegal workers were nabbed last month.
According to the statement, PSP officers, as well as officials from the Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL) and from several other government entities, jointly or separately, carried out inspections of 438 venues last month, rounding up the 48 suspected illegal workers.
The venues included construction sites, residential units, commercial and industrial premises, the statement said.
