Several members of the audience at yesterday’s Macau Forum said that the new law on condominium buildings’ communal area management makes it more difficult for unit owners to use the money in the buildings’ reserve funds for the maintenance and repairs of the various facilities in the buildings’ common areas.
The weekly open-air debate is hosted by government-owned broadcaster TDM in Areia Preta Park every Sunday.
Yesterday’s focus of the forum was on the implementations of two new laws concerning the management of the city’s residential buildings that took effect late last month.
