The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a local man on Tuesday for allegedly attacking his wife with a cleaver after a heated argument last Saturday over how to educate their children, PJ spokesman Choi Ian Fai said during a regular press conference yesterday.
Choi identified the suspect as a 47-year-old restaurant waiter surnamed Ng and his wife as a 42-year-old casino worker. They have an eight-year-old son and a daughter in her teens.
According to Choi, the couple, who have been married for about a decade, have been arguing over their offspring’s education in recent years.
