There are plans for the redevelopment of three dilapidated low-rise buildings – located next to each other – in the city centre, according to the proposed legal development conditions for the plot on which the three buildings are situated, which were published by the Lands, Public Works and Transport Bureau (DSSOPT) yesterday.
The three buildings are located in Rua do Comandante Mata e Oliveira – a street between Avenida da Praia Grande and Avenida de D. João IV.
The Lands, Public Works and Transport Bureau has drafted the legal development conditions for the plot as its owners have applied to redevelop the buildings. The legal development conditions propose a height limit of 75 metres, which is understood to mean that the buildings may be demolished for the construction of new ones.
