A coach driver and four tourists were injured in a collision between two coaches in Pac On in Taipa yesterday afternoon, the police said.
According to the police, the accident occurred at around 3 p.m. at Rotunda de Pac On – the roundabout outside the Taipa Ferry Terminal. The two coaches were coming from Estrada de Pac On towards the roundabout.
When one of the two coaches slowed down and gave way to vehicles using the roundabout from Avenida Wai Long, the coach travelling behind crashed into the back of the one in front as latter’s driver failed to brake on time, according to the result of a preliminary investigation by the police.
