The number of visitors from the US, Australia, Canada and other countries overseas rose year on year last month, according to data released by the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) this week.
US visitors rose 15.1 percent to 13,700, visitors from Australia grew 18.1 percent to 5,400 and those from Canada increased 11 percent to 5,400. UK visitors rose 6.4 percent to 4,600. Those from France increased 1.9 percent to 3,300.
South Korean visitors fell 12.6 percent to 66,100. Those from Japan dropped 2 percent to 29,300.
