The Judiciary Police (PJ) have arrested a 78-year-old local man for molesting two girls during a music class, PJ spokesman Lai Man Vai said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Lai, the suspect is a music teacher surnamed Chan, who has been teaching music and painting courses on the peninsula since 2015. The victims are two sisters aged eight and nine who started to attend Chan’s course in April.
The two girls said that Chan had asked them to sit on his lap when there were not many people in the room, and the suspect sometimes would even touch their bodies, Lai said. The two girls told their mother last month, who in turn reported the case to the police.
