The Judiciary Police (PJ) arrested a local man on Wednesday for stealthily taking photos of a woman in a female’s washroom in a staff area in a casino-hotel in the city centre, PJ spokesman Leng Kam Lon said during a regular press conference yesterday.
Leng identified the suspect as a 23-year-old local man surnamed Aoieong working as a technician in the hotel’s engineering department. The victim is a non-resident worker in her twenties.
On Wednesday afternoon, when the victim was in the washroom she saw a hand holding a smartphone moving towards her cubicle from under the partition of the adjacent cubicle, Leng said, adding that the victim suspected that someone was secretly taking photos of her.
