The new Chun Su Mei Campus – located near Taipa Village – of the Seniors Academy of the Macau Polytechnic Institute (IPM) will provide a total of 520 places, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Alexis Tam Chon Weng said yesterday.
Chun Su Mei is an area name, indicating the past existence of pine trees there.
Tam made the remarks in a speech during his visit to the site of the 1,800 square metres campus-to-be. He was welcomed by IPM President Marcus Im Sio Kei, along with dozens of students from the Seniors Academy.
