The Infrastructure Development Office (GDI) said in a statement yesterday that it expects the construction of a flyover connecting Pac On in Taipa with the land reclamation area officially known as Zone E2 to get off the ground in the first quarter of next year.
Zone E2 lies off the northern coast of Taipa between the Taipa Ferry Terminal and the airport.
The office unsealed bids submitted by 14 construction companies for the construction of the project yesterday. All bids were accepted.
