The annual Traffic Safety Carnival held by the government in Praça do Tap Seac yesterday aimed to promote public awareness of traffic safety, with parents and their children visibly enjoying the various activities.
In their ongoing effort to promote traffic safety, the Transport Bureau (DSAT), Public Security Police (PSP), Legal Affairs Bureau (DSAJ) and Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ) jointly organise a string of events annually, the Transport Bureau pointed out in a statement last week. Yesterday’s event was among the series of activities that are held every year.
According to last week’s statement, the government aims to inform residents of the importance of traffic safety and obeying traffic rules, with the series of activities held all year round.
