A German man is suspected of having used his colleague’s documents to enter the restricted area of the airport in Taipa and was reported by an airport security guard to the police, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Lam Keong said during a regular press conference yesterday in Zape.

The 30-year-old man identified by Lam as Martin, who told police that he’s a project manager, holds a German passport. Martin entered the airport in Taipa on Monday at around 12 a.m. Airport security guards discovered that the name on his identity document was different to the one on his temporary entry card when he entered the staff corridor into the restricted area of the airport. The guards then reported the case to the police, according to Lam.

When questioned by the police, Martin said that he used his colleague’s documents – who was in charge of transporting musical instruments – to enter the restricted area of the airport, since his colleague was unable to get away from what he was doing at work, according to Lam.
