Three suspected members of a Malaysian credit card fraud gang were arrested on Monday, the Judiciary Police (PJ) announced at a special press conference yesterday.

A total of HK$300,000 was transferred by one of the three suspects to the gang’s mainland bank accounts, PJ spokesman Leng Kam Lon said.

Among the trio, a Malaysian man was arrested for receiving around 30 mobile phones from the gang that its members had bought with fake credit cards since July 2017, according to Leng.
