The Public Security Police (PSP) caught a 63-year-old local man red-handed while he was trying to sell “yellow cow” ferry tickets to passers-by at the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal on Friday night, a PSP spokesperson said yesterday.

“Yellow cow” is Chinese slang for a ticket tout.

The statement said the police found 138 ferry tickets for economy seats from Macau to Hong Kong on the suspect, an unemployed man surnamed Lei.

According to the suspect, he bought the tickets from gamblers in a casino near the terminal earlier that day, at 150 patacas each. Before his arrest, Lei had sold two tickets for 165 patacas each, the spokesperson added.
