Special needs school to move to ex-Canidrome: Tam

Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Alexis Tam Chon Weng said yesterday that an area on the plot of land where the former greyhound racetrack is located will be used for the new campus of the private Concordia School for Special Education.

Tam made the remarks when visiting the current campus of the special needs school – located on the first to the third floors of the south block of Zhu Kuan Building in Rua de Madrid in Nape, with its entrance on the ground floor.

During his visit to the special needs school, the policy secretary held a meeting with the school’s management members, teaching staff and pupil representatives. Tam was accompanied by officials from the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau (DSEJ), Social Welfare Bureau (IAS) and Health Bureau (SSM) during his visit.
