Five spectators in the Lisboa Bend Stand were caught with fake hand stamps on Saturday during the Macau Touring Car Cup final of the Macau Grand Prix (MGP), Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Wong Wai Chon said in a regular press conference yesterday.

A security manager at the Lisboa Bend Stand suspected that the five spectators had fake hand stamps and reported them to the police immediately, Wong said.

According to Wong, the police received a report at 11 a.m. on Saturday from the security manager who suspected the five spectators of having bogus hand stamps. When questioned, the quintet said that two men had sold them the bogus hand stamps for 500 patacas each, but they were not given any physical tickets, only a stamp on the back of their hands.
