Mongolian woman ‘raped’ in hotel in Taipa: police

A Mongolian woman was allegedly raped by a man from the mainland on Monday in a hotel room in Taipa, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Leng Kam Lon said yesterday during a regular press briefing.

According to Leng, the female victim in her 30s came to Macau alone to do some sightseeing. The victim met the suspect surnamed Lu, who is also in his 30s, a businessman from the mainland, on November 9 at a bar in a hotel in Taipa. The victim and Lu went out a couple of times and went to different casinos to gamble. Both also stayed in different hotel rooms and had sex a number of times.

Leng said that on Monday, both checked into another hotel together in Taipa. They went out and the victim got drunk. They went back to the guestroom and Lu asked the victim to have anal sex, according to the spokesman, but the victim refused Lu’s advances. Lu got upset and hit the victim which hurt her back. After the incident, the victim ran out of the room and went to the reception to ask for help.
