It’s been a month since martial arts novelist Louis Cha Leung-yung, better known by his pen name Jin Yong, passed away but his legacy lives on, with his original work and creative process all documented in a permanent exhibition at Hong Kong’s Jin Yong Gallery.
Cha died on October 31 aged 94 in Hong Kong, and tributes poured in from around the world for the literary giant. The Hong Kong Heritage Museum at that time set up a condolence point outside its Jin Yong Gallery, which drew fans from near and far to bid their last farewell to the famous author.
Cha also co-founded the Chinese-language Hong Kong daily newspaper Ming Pao in 1959.
