The Judiciary Police (PJ) yesterday warned residents against phone scams in which fraudsters pretend to be from an express delivery company.
According to the statement, the Judiciary Police have received reports from a number of residents who purportedly received phone calls from “SF Express”. The phone callers told them that there was a parcel for them at the company which could, however, not be picked up, telling them to dial “9” if they needed to contact the customer service about the matter, according to the statement.
According to the statement, the residents reported the situation to the police after they suspected a phone scam.
