The massive traffic jams on Sai Van Bridge and Friendship Bridge on Saturday evening were due to a string of various reasons, the Transport Bureau (DSAT) said yesterday.
Lai Kin Hou, who heads the DSAT Traffic Equipment Division, made the remarks during yesterday’s Macau Forum. The weekly debate programme is hosted by government-owned broadcaster TDM every Sunday.
Sai Van Bridge has two entrances for peninsula-bound traffic on the Taipa side – one for vehicles coming from Avenida do Oceano via Rotunda dos Jogos da Ásia Oriental while the other is for vehicles coming from Avenida dos Jogos da Ásia Oriental.
