A local woman in her sixties was hit by a taxi yesterday on a zebra crossing in Avenida de Horta e Costa, the Public Security Police (PSP) said yesterday.
According to the police, the accident happened shortly before 11 a.m. when the cab hit the woman when she was walking across a zebra crossing near the Tai Fung Bank branch in the thoroughfare that runs from near Flora Garden to the Red Market.
The woman, who sustained slight injuries to her legs and waist, was taken to the public Conde de Sao Januario Hospital Centre for treatment, the police said.
