A local woman and her ex-boyfriend were arrested on Monday for stealing cash in patacas and yuan equivalent to over 90,000 patacas that her father had kept at the female suspect’s family home, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Choi Ian Fai said during a special press conference yesterday.
Choi identified the female suspect as a 22-year-old surnamed Lio working as a casino host, and the male suspect as a 25-year-old local surnamed Lao who told the police that he is unemployed.
The female suspect’s home is in Block 6 of the U Wa residential estate in Areia Preta district.
