The Judiciary Police (PJ) have arrested one female and eight male members of a casino loansharking gang from the mainland that specialised in cheating rival loansharks

PJ spokesman Choi Ian Fai announced the “loansharks-cheat-loansharks” case during a special press conference yesterday. The nine suspects were arrested on Monday when security guards in a casino in Cotai called the police after a noisy row between members of two rival loansharking gangs – one of which allegedly defrauded the other one. It was then that the bizarre case came to light.

The suspects include a 36-year-old woman surnamed Feng, who told the police that she was a businesswoman.
