Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Alexis Tam Chon Weng said at the weekend that he did not know the real-estate agency and the main suspect allegedly involved in a massive investment scam announced by the police last week.
Tam also said that his colleagues in the Macau Government Tourism Office (MGTO) did not know the real-estate agency and the female suspect either. He also said that he and his MGTO colleagues did not have any knowledge about the cultural and creative projects that the real-estate agency was engaged in.
Tam made the remarks while speaking to reporters on Saturday on the sidelines of a public function at Anim’Arte Nam Van.
